Sumac

Grown in the vibrant region of Akre in Iraqi Kurdistan, this sumac is our favorite finishing spice. 

Tart like fresh lemon with a light sweetness and a deep maroon hue, we put this in a shaker and sprinkle it on everything. Use it in rubs for fish and meat, and mix in with dips and sauces.
